I haven't been in a while. But I've been a few times over the years with friends and hubby for date nights. I love the calamari here. This is where I was first introduced to it. I didn't want to try it at first. But I did and with the sauces it was great!!
I loved the ambiance. The dimmed lights, fire pits were very romantic.
We loved this place so much we had a small intimate wedding reception for family and close friends here back in 2009. The staff was great. Reserving the venue was easy and they gave us exactly what we needed. We were able to bring the wedding cake and our wine. Our guests really loved it as well.
I need to visit again soon! -

After 20 mins of waiting we walked out.
Went in yesterday to meet a friend for lunch. There was no host at the door so I went to the bar. The lady at the bar served other patrons drinks and walked away. No verbal acknowledgment I was present. She'd look over and then continue on with her business. She's busy I understand. As I wait she walks away from the bar. Eventually a man comes out and over. I ask for a table for two and a wine list so I can order a glass of wine. He does give me a wine list and then tells me there's open seating at bar table tops and he will bring me menus. I'm patiently waiting, no drink, no food menus. He's busy serving other tables, making drinks, etc. he never came over to the table with the menu or for a drink order.
Meanwhile other patrons walk in, two different groups, and they were each seated immediately while I'm still waiting for menus in this open bar area he directed me to. I finally get up as clearly no one is coming, and I attempt to speak to the lady who is now back in the bar. She tells me to hold on. I waited another few minutes and simply walked out as it was clear neither people were interested in assisting or serving me.
Horrible service. Unsure if this was a race based interaction or just poor service. It appeared other people were seated and acknowledge immediately. Regardless, it's unfortunate and I will not be back. -

I patronized this restaurant, per a friend's referral, for the first time on 08/17/19 with family to celebrate my birthday. We arrived about 1:30pm and were greeted within seconds of entering the front door, we were seated at our table of preference and the male host who seated us interacted with us in a very jovial and refreshing manner. I loved the ambiance of this place and the waterfall patio wall was very calming to visually admire and listen to as we dined.
Our female server was accommodating with our orders and our food was served within a reasonable time after we placed our order. About the food ordered - the Lamb meatballs were seasoned well and tasted good, however the meatballs were overcooked and tasted dry; the mac and cheese with bacom was absolutely Scrumptious; the Watermelon salad was delicious; the tomato basil soup was tasty and the clam chowder was good.
I will definitely try this restaurant again and I would recommend it to family and friends to try.

I came back because I heard that riverside clubhouse was under new management. It continues to be a mediocre experience. I don't know what these people need to do, but the current reinvention it is not enough. It's totally generic. Maybe some really well done signature dishes would help.
So, kid's entrees are $7 and that doesn't include a drink. My son who isn't a big eater has the mini cheeseburger. He got one Teeny tiny slider which wasn't a large enough portion for him. There's a $3 up charge for a second slider. Since milk is $3 his meal ends up being $13. It's outrageous because I could have ordered a regular adult entree for about the same cost. Two sliders should be considered standard for a children's plate, especially the size of theirs. I usually don't have a problem with what I see in kids menus across most restaurants I visit, but this one made me mad. -
